This had been an earworm for me since around 1984 when me and my school mate Wullie used to jam together. He played me the song way back then and that riff stuck with me through the years even though I had no idea who the song was by. Eventually I managed to reconnect with Wullie who revealed the name of the band that recorded this originally was Lunatic Fringe from Ireland. As the only recording I could find of it was from a live concert on YouTube I tried to recreate this as faithfully as I could.
A great song which definitely deserves a new lease of live and was our most downloaded release of 2022.
